Richard Berkeley promotes music in education

Monday, April 12, 2010

RICHARD BERKELEY, the subject of MAUREEN MURRAY‘s road movie documentary “MAGNIFICAT”, is a passionate and active advocate of music in education.

As President of the Fundacja Nowa Orkiestra Kameralna, he recently addressed TEDxWarsaw’s inaugural conference. One million people watched him live on line. Click here to watch again on YouTube.

Shot entirely on location in Poland, “MAGNIFICAT” follows Berkeley and the Nowa Orkiestra conducted by Pawel Kos-Nowicki in the run up to a concert featuring Bach’s Magnificat starring world famous soprano DAME EMMA KIRKBY.
